Dr.
Abraham Ishaaya, a respected physician and teacher, has had an extensive
private practice in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine since 1996. He balances
his time between treating patients and teaching residents and fellows at
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, part of the UCLA School of Medicine, where he
is also an assistant clinical professor.
Dr. Ishaaya is on staff as a Los Angeles lung doctor at several Los Angeles-based hospitals including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Olympia Medical Center and Brotman Medical Center. He speaks English, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish.

in internal medicine and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care, with
a special emphasis in sleep medicine, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los
Angeles.
As a Los Angeles sleep doctor and pulmonary doctor, and former co-director of the Cedars-Sinai Sleep Laboratory, Dr. Ishaaya later went on to direct the Brotman Medical Center sleep laboratory and the Century City Hospital sleep service. Currently Dr. Ishaaya is the medical director of Midway Sleep Lab in Los Angeles. He is also associated with other sleep laboratories in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Taking a comprehensive holistic approach to medicine, Dr. Ishaaya realized

and thus he trained in bariatric medicine, and now offers a medical weight loss program which includes laser therapy for weight loss. He has been appointed the medical
director for the Medical Weight Loss Center at Olympia Medical Center in
Los Angeles.
Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine,
and geriatrics medicine, Dr. Ishaaya is a member of the American Thoracic
Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Ishaaya has received numerous awards and has held many appointments
at several hospitals and medical associations. He was accepted as a
life member of the National Registry of Who’s Who. He is discreet and
